Parking & Badging Coordinator

Under general supervision, the Parking & Badging Coordinator is responsible for the daily operations of the badging office and parking support, including badge issuance, access control management, parking garage & valet/garage attendant operations support. This role provides expertise in safety, security, and parking programs, supports data analysis and reporting, and ensures the integrity, accuracy, and efficiency of access control and parking systems.

Education:

High School Diploma

Experience:

  • Knowledge of General office and customer service experience required
  • Two (2) years of working experience required
  • Two (2) years of driving experience required
  • Experience with parking attendants and/or valet operations preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel preferred
  • Experience with access control, badging, or database systems preferred

Licensure, Certifications:

  • Valid Driver's License (must be maintained throughout employment)
  • CPR Certification required within 90 days of employment and must be maintained throughout employment

Skills:

  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic math skills, including ability to balance cash receipts
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to drive manual transmission (stick shift) preferred
  • Knowledge of record-keeping procedures and practices
  • Knowledge of personnel policies and procedures
  • Ability to analyze, interpret, and report data
  • Ability to learn and manage safety, security, parking, and access control systems
  • Ability to manage and program access control systems

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and interpret data, using a variety of statistical techniques, concentrating on the accuracy of information.
  • Develop and implement core strategies for database handling, data collection systems, and data analytics.
  • Filter data by reviewing computer reports, and performance indicators, in a bid to locate and correct coding problems.
  • Manipulate information to create specialized reports, according to the instructions of requesters.
  • Process request for GBMC badges and maintain the existing badging system.
  • Provide card reader audits as requested.
  • Perform high volume and detailed work with accuracy.
  • Provide a high level of customer service to a diverse employee group and the public.
  • Support daily operations of the badging and parking systems as requested
  • Ability to be trained to operate and maintain revenue control equipment
  • Prepare daily sales reports and cashier bank deposit when operating fee computer
  • Assist customers in the use of automated revenue control equipment including ticket dispensers, pay stations, and exit station equipment
  • Other duties as assigned

Pay Range

$17.30 - $25.11

Final salary offer will be based on the candidate's qualifications, education, experience and alignment with our organizational needs.
