Make your mark for patients

We are looking for a Head of Facilities, United States who is strategic, influential, and deliveryoriented to join our Facility Management team. This hybrid position (at least 60% of the time in office) is located at our US Headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia and requires 20% domestic & 5% international travel.


About the role

You will lead the strategy, governance, and operations of our United States facilities and real estate portfolio. This role combines strategic leadership with operational delivery across multiple sites, including offices and laboratories. You will help shape how workplaces support business growth, innovation, and employee experience, while driving transformation toward a globally aligned facilities model.


Who you'll work with

You will be working in a team that partners closely with global and United States stakeholders across finance, information technology, human resources, procurement, engineering, and site leadership. You will collaborate with internal teams and external service providers to deliver consistent, high-quality facilities services across a decentralized network of sites.


What you'll do

  • Lead United States facilities and real estate strategy aligned with global direction
  • Oversee multi-site facilities operations across offices and laboratory environments
  • Own operating and capital budgets, driving cost optimization and transparency
  • Act as a coordination and governance point for Environment, Health & Safety-related topics within Facilities scope
  • Lead vendor strategy, performance management, and contract governance in line with procurement strategy
  • Support capital projects and workplace transformation initiatives

Interested? For this role we're looking for the following education, experience and skills

  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred
  • 10+ years of experience managing United States multi-site facilities operations is required
  • Strong expertise in real estate portfolio and vendor management is required
  • Proven financial ownership of operating and capital expenditure budgets is required
  • Experience working in global, matrix, or decentralized organizations is required
  • Strong executive stakeholder management and influencing skills is required
  • Facility management, property management, or industry organization certifications are preferred
  • Experience in regulated environments such as healthcare, pharmaceuticals is preferred


The reasonably anticipated salary range for this position is $
148,000-194,300 per year. The actual salary offered will take into account related knowledge, skills, experience and location among other factors and may fall outside the expected range.
