The Department of Mathematics in the School of Computer Science and Mathematics at Marist University invites applications for Part-Time Faculty, Mathematics for the 2026-2027 Academic Year. The Department of Mathematics is seeking applicants for multiple instructional positions for the upcoming term: Calculus with Management Applications: This course introduces one of the basic computational tools of calculus: the derivative. Functional models, including linear, quadratic, exponential, and logarithmic models are developed. These ideas and techniques are applied to study situations from business and other disciplines. Appropriate technology will be selected by the instructor. Available Sections - Fall, 2026 semester:
- Mondays and Thursdays 8:00am - 9:15am
- Wednesdays 8:00am - 9:15am and Fridays 11:00am - 12:15pm

Minimum Qualifications:
|
Master's degree in Mathematics (or a related field) from an accredited institution. Preference will be given to candidates with prior teaching experience.

Essential Functions:
|
Opportunities are available to teach in one or more areas across several disciplines over time. Teaching opportunities include undergraduate courses in both on-ground and online environments. Availability to teach during daytime hours is desired. Bringing industry expertise into the classroom via your own personal experience or by inviting guest speakers from your network is preferred.
