About Us

Girl Scouts of the USA

Founded in 1912, Girl Scouts of the USA (GSUSA) is the preeminent leadership development organization for girls and the leading authority on their healthy development. Millions of Girl Scout alums across the country and the world have gone on to achieve incredible things and make a tremendous impact in fields ranging from public policy, medicine, journalism, and athletics to international relations, science, technology, art, and entertainment.

As a mission-driven organization, Girl Scouts of the USA champions girls as they explore their worlds, try new things, and develop the courage, confidence, and character to make the world a better place. From stargazing during a first overnight camping trip to building robots, navigating a rocky hiking trail, working together on a community project, and learning about the importance of environmental stewardship, Girl Scouts of all backgrounds and abilities can unapologetically be themselves as they rise to meet new challenges and discover the issues that matter most to them. Along the way they learn the power of friendship, connection, and teamwork.

Girl Scouts are doers, innovators, problem-solvers, creators, and dreamers, and the GSUSA team is here to center, support, and inspire them, working with 111 local councils across the country and USA Girl Scouts Overseas to deliver our life-changing Girl Scout Leadership Experience.

The Revenue Office/Girl Scout Merchandise leads merchandising, licensing, product sales, and other revenue streams, which in turn fund both Girl Scouts of the USA programming and administration and local council revenue. The teams at this division include e-commerce, operations, retail, licensing, and the famous Girl Scout Cookie Program and work closely with all the other communities to bring products to market for our Girl Scouts and the general public.

This is hybrid position with 2 days per week in the NYC office.

Highly partner-facing and operationally embedded, this role sits at the center of a cross-functional ecosystem-including Membership, Girl Scout Merchandise, and our sourcing and fulfillment partners (En Pointe and Centricity). Essential Responsibilities

Troop Data Alignment

Partner closely with the GSUSA Membership team to gather, validate, and interpret troop- and level-based participation data.
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency across systems to inform demand planning and forecasting.
  • Identify trends, anomalies, or gaps in troop data that may impact box demand or fulfillment.

Buy Quantity Planning

  • Collaborate with GSUSA Membership and Girl Scout Merchandise teams to develop and refine buy-quantity projections for Experience Box components.
  • Leverage historical performance, participation trends, and program assumptions to support accurate purchasing decisions.
  • Monitor changes in troop participation and recommend buy-quantity adjustments as needed.

Inventory Forecasting

  • Work seamlessly with external vendors to build, maintain, and update inventory forecasts for all Experience Box components.
  • Ensure appropriate inventory coverage across fulfillment windows, accounting for lead times, constraints, and timing dependencies.
  • Proactively identify inventory risks and collaborate on mitigation plans.
  • Define data-driven reorder points and stock thresholds tailored to specific production cycles and manufacturing timelines to maintain seamless workflow continuity.

Documentation & Shipping Logistics

  • Own end-to-end order documentation and shipping logistics to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment
  • Prepare and distribute monthly order previews, including quantity and box configuration estimates, to support logistics planning
  • Standardize and communicate buy-quantity requirements in alignment with program timelines and production schedules
  • Manage shipping documentation for monthly call-outs, ensuring accuracy and adherence to required formats
  • Develop detailed weekly shipping manifests reflecting complex, multi-level box configurations
  • Maintain data accuracy across inventory and shipping records to minimize errors and ensure alignment between systems and physical shipments

Cross-Functional Communication

  • Serve as the connective point across GSUSA teams and external vendors to ensure alignment on forecasting assumptions, timing, and data inputs.
  • Facilitate clear, consistent communication around inventory status, risks, and changes.
  • Support cross-functional decision-making with data-driven insights.

Reporting & Recaps

  • Maintain ongoing reporting on box participation, forecast accuracy, inventory levels, and fulfillment readiness.
  • Support end-of-season recaps, documenting learnings and performance outcomes.
  • Contribute insights and recommendations to inform future Experience Box planning cycles.
