DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a fiscal technician you will manage key fiscal operations that keep essential services running. This rewarding public services role supports programs that lift up others, making a difference in the lives of many. Your duties in this role will include:
- Records Analysis: Analyze and interpret accounting records and methods for input to be entered into our accounting system
- Fiscal Coding: Participate in the coding and processing of revenue, expenses, payroll, allocations, and reconciliations as assigned
- Invoice Processes: Develop and analyze program invoices; generate and analyze reports
- Fiscal Tracking: Maintain departmental budget to expense spreadsheets and workbooks for financial tracking
- Teamwork: Collaborate with individuals from both our fiscal and program teams; assist with preparation for agency audits
Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
- Employee may have occasional overnight travel or out of County travel for meetings or training. Often, irregular hours, including evening and weekends may be required.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as a Fiscal Assistant; or
- Three years of work involving the maintenance of fiscal or financial records, including one year of responsible work which involves the application of accounting or fiscal principles and practices; and graduation from high school; or
- One year of experience in maintaining and reviewing fiscal records and an associate degree in accounting or business administration; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
Other Requirements:

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirement:
- You must pass a background investigation.
- A conditional offer of employment will require a drug screening.
- This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law.
- Under the Law, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance.
