Systems Medical Director, Psychiatric Emergency Services Boston University Medical Group (BUMG) / Boston Medical Center Health System Position Summary Boston University Medical Group (BUMG) is seeking an accomplished psychiatrist to serve as Systems Medical Director, Psychiatric Emergency Services. This physician leader will provide strategic, administrative, and clinical oversight of Psychiatric Emergency Services across the Boston Medical Center Health System, working in close partnership with leadership from the Departments of Psychiatry and Emergency Medicine. The Systems Medical Director will oversee psychiatrists and psychiatric advanced practice providers (Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners and other APRNs) practicing within the Emergency Departments across the health system. This role is ideal for an experienced psychiatrist with a demonstrated record of clinical excellence, operational leadership, physician engagement, and program development.
