JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

The College/Unit of Humanities is seeking applicants for part-time job of Research Support.

Dr. Michael Green

  • This is a full-time summer research project (40 hours per week) for a clinical research project on anxiety and mammography. The project will involve recruiting adult participants into a study to evaluate the impact of a comic booklet in reducing anxiety among women waiting to receive mammogram results. The student will 1) recruit research participants into the study, 2) administer questionnaires, 3) collect research data, 4) coordinate research meetings with an interdisciplinary team, and 5) analyze data toward the goal of publishing a paper in the peer-reviewed medical literature. The applicant should have familiarity with quantitative and qualitative research and will work under the direction of Dr. Michael Green in the Department of Humanities.

Compensation:

The starting rate for this job is $16.00.
