Position Description

The Senior Program Manager will facilitate complex, multi-functional programs within Networks and Technology across Zayo. The Senior Program Manager will act as a lead to ensure related projects across the organization benefit each other and align with overall business goals.The successful candidate should also be familiar with Network Systems of Record for both fiber plant and circuit details.This includes workflow, capital budgeting and forecasting and project metrics and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Strategize, implement, and maintain program initiatives that adhere to organizational objectives

  • Develop program assessment protocols for evaluation, improvements and best practices.

  • Maintain/Identify organizational standards of satisfaction, quality, and performance.

  • Oversee multiple project teams, ensuring program goals are reached

  • Manage budget and funding channels for maximum productivity

  • Leads project sponsor, cross-functional teams, and assigned project managers to plan and develop scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new initiatives

  • Create and maintain executive level program reporting, scorecards and dashboards

  • Owns complex program and project teams for optimal return-on-investment, and coordinate and delegate cross-project initiatives.

  • Lead cross-functional teams and external vendors

  • Develop and manage budget for projects and be accountable for delivering against established business goals/objectives

  • Lead programs with high level of risks and opportunities across multiple projects within the department

  • Lead others to analyze, evaluate, and overcome program risks, and produce program reports for management and stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Exceptional leadership, time management, facilitation, and organizational skills, indirect and direct influencing skills

  • Expert working knowledge of change management principles and performance evaluation processes

  • Previous stakeholder management skills related to complex concepts

  • Strong working knowledge of Salesforce CRM software is preferred

  • Proven proposal writing experience is preferred

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or master's degree in business or related field or equivalent experience is required.

  • In addition, at least 7 years of experience in program and team management.

  • PMP, PPM, or other similar Program Management certification, preferred

Estimated base salary range: $87,600 - $134,700 USD/annually.

The base pay range shown is a guideline and reasonable estimate for this role. It takes into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted range based upon geographic location, work experience, skill level, certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Non- sales roles may be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive plan. Sales roles may be eligible to participate in a sales incentive plan.

Additionally, this position may be eligible for certain benefits, such as health insurance, life insurance, disability retirement plans, paid time off.
