OVERVIEW The Warehouse Forklift Operator may be assigned to a variety of tasks and positions within the warehouse operations.Responsible for proper and safe stacking and unstacking of pallet loads of sugar, exercising care to prevent damage to packages or pallets.Responsible for assuring shipment of proper grade and quantity as specified with minimum supervision. This position requires continuous heavy labor activities. Assignments may include repetitive hand, arm, and body movements. RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES Forkliftdriving toload trucks and move pallets as needed in the warehouse Hand stack cases of product Reworks product as needed including hand palletizing, cuttingbags and cases into bins Understand andcomply withall Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), GMP's, and HACCP. Inspect finished product, resolve qualityissues,and report quality issues to management. Keepworkarea clean andmaintainthe assignedportionofthe mastersanitation schedule. Communicates all pertinent information between management, co-workers, and between shifts on changes to equipment, productionproblemsor any other related information Other duties and responsibilities asrequiredor assigned. Must be able to perform task wearing all PPE (hard hat, steel toed shoes, safety glasses) This position requires the flexibility to work various shifts, days, swing and graveyard, including Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, holidays, and overtime, as needed. Weekend shifts may be mandated based on business needs. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 2 years warehouse forklift experiencerequired PAY RATE: Hourly Range: $24.07 - $33.90 We are an equal opportunity employer.
