Data Analyst, US Consumer Services - Denver (Hybrid)

Role Responsibilities

The Data Analyst supports the U.S. Consumer Services organization by analyzing business performance, customer behavior, and retail and digital trends to deliver actionable insights. This role collaborates with cross functional stakeholders to provide performance reporting, communicate analytics, and enhance processes and reporting capabilities across the Consumer Services team.

  • Develop, implement, and maintain leading-edge analytics systems, while taking complicated problems and building simple frameworks.
  • Identify trends and opportunities for growth through analysis of complex datasets.
  • Refine existing data sets and optimize existing reporting & dashboards for improved business insights to drive improved decision-making.
  • Create best-practice reports, dashboards and presentations based on data mining, analysis, and visualization.
  • Evaluate internal systems for efficiency, problems, and inaccuracies, and develop and maintain protocols for handling, processing, and cleaning data.
  • Work directly with functional areas to gather requirements, provide status updates, and build relationships.

Role Requirements

  • MBA or Master's degree in analytics is a plus.
  • 1-2 years of data & analytics experience
  • Experience in SQL (Advanced) required.
  • Experience in Power BI or Tableau (Intermediate) required.
  • Experience in Basic Python or R (Beginner) preferred.
  • Experience in Snowflake (Beginner) preferred.
  • Proficient in synthesizing complex data sets
  • Ability to communicate complex topics in a simple way.
  • *Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Western Union will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position.
  • *Applicants must be based in Denver or willing to relocate to Denver to work from the Denver office a minimum of three days a week. Western Union will not assist with relocation costs for this position.

Work Shift

HYBRID - Western Union values in-person collaboration, problem solving, and ideation whenever possible. We believe this fosters common ways of working and supports how we execute initiatives for our customers. The expectation is to work from the office a minimum of three days a week.

Salary

The base salary range is $70,000 - $90,000 USD per year; total on-target earnings include a base salary and short-term incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on candidates' qualifications, skills, and competencies.
