This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a manufacturing or technical environment and are comfortable operating equipment, following detailed procedures, and contributing to high-quality production processes. Why You'll Love This Opportunity Work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment Gain hands-on experience with specialized manufacturing processes and equipment Opportunity to expand your technical skills and industry knowledge Join a culture that values safety, quality, reliability, and continuous improvement Potential for long-term growth and full-time opportunities Key Responsibilities Operate production equipment to support mechanical processing and manufacturing activities Perform cutting, sectioning, and shaping operations using wire saws, ID saws, OD saws, and related equipment Support grinding, polishing, surface finishing, and post-processing activities according to established procedures Prepare, load, unload, clean, and maintain equipment and work areas Follow work instructions, manufacturing procedures, and inspection requirements Track samples, document process parameters, and maintain accurate production records Collaborate with engineering, production, quality, and R&D teams to support troubleshooting and process improvements Adhere to all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and housekeeping standards Job Requirements Qualifications Required: High School Diploma or GED Minimum 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing, production, machine shop, laboratory, or technical processing environment Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail Ability to follow detailed procedures and maintain quality standards Comfortable performing repetitive precision-based tasks Preferred: Experience with wire saws, ID saws, OD saws, grinding, polishing, lapping, cutting, or precision sample preparation Experience with optical inspection, dimensional inspection, or measurement tools Familiarity with documentation processes, sample tracking, EHS procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, comfortable working on a production floor, and eager to learn specialized manufacturing processes.
