Registered Nurse Operating Room Forest Heights, MD Pay From $47 per hour MUST: Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Maryland 3+ years of experience as a registered Nurse Scrubbing and circulating in the Operating Room Starting and administering IV's Strong attention to detail and proactive Providing patient education Monitoring and assessing patients Discussing procedures Reviewing discharge instructions BSN BLS and ACLS Certified DUTIES: The Operating Room Nurse's duties include but are not limited to the following: Provide support in the Operating Room but scrubbing and circulating on surgical cases Initiate and administer IV's Review upcoming procedures with patients Ready patients for procedures Report adverse reactions to medications or treatments Provide discharge instructions to patients Record patients' medical information and vital signs.
