The Clinical Rehabilitation Associate supports TRC's mission by providing cross-functional patient care assistance throughout all phases of treatment and rehabilitation. This role is designed to be flexible, adapting to the needs of different stages of care and shifting responsibilities based on patient caseloads, staffing coverage requirements, seasonal demands, and operational priorities. It will fill critical staffing gaps and ensure continuity of care for our patients. It will also contribute to the teaching and supervision of student employees and volunteers, provide guidance to interns and visiting professionals, and represent TRC to the general public. Key competencies include a basic level of skill in providing professional care to animals, strong observation skills, customer service experience, ability to work independently and in a team environment, basic skills in the Microsoft Suite, and ability to problem-solve. About the Department
Established in 1974 as part of the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine, The Raptor Center rehabilitates about 1,000 sick and injured raptors each year while helping to identify emerging environmental issues related to raptor health and populations. An internationally renowned education facility, The Raptor Center trains veterinary students and veterinarians from around the world to become future leaders in raptor medicine and conservation.
