Fabrication Tech Jrnymn (ED-216) (3669)

Scope of Work:

Provide leadership to the Fabrication team in all phases of fabrication and overhauling. Supervise project in the absence of a Leaderman or Foreman.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

* Hands on technician / fabricator. Required to perform all non-specialty tasks associated with fabrication. Tasks include ability to align engine / compressor, install compressor cylinders, vessels, install screwed pipe and mount ancillary equipment

* Troubleshoot compressor related problems

* Understand and adhere to Packaging Standards established by Waukesha and other engine manufacturers

* Understand and adhere to Packaging Standards established by Compressor Manufacturers

* Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must have 5 year(s) previous experience
• Must High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must have knowledge of Waukesha Engines or other natural gas engines
• Must have knowledge of natural gas compressors
• Must be able to read P&IDs, General Arrangement and Skid Drawings
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted

Requirements: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

• Must have the ability to effectively operate test equipment and have good troubleshooting skills
• Must have the ability to supervise and motivate others
• Must have good communication skills and good record keeping skills
