Cape Fox Concentric Methods LLC is accepting resumes for a Pharmacy Technician to provide full time services to our deserving Air Force at Nellis AFB located in Los Vegas, Nevada.

The total hourly pay for this non-exempt position is $30.21for up to 40 hours per week. This is comprised of a base hourly rate of $24.12plus $5.09per hour Health & Welfare (H&W) for up to 40 hours per week as required by the Service Contract Labor Standards (SCLS) regulations. This raterepresents the company's good faith and reasonable estimate of possible compensation at the time of posting. In addition, we offer a variety of benefits including specified holidays, paid leave, health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, as well as 401K with company match. Unused vacation will be paid upon termination. This job will be posted until filled or withdrawn. This position does have a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).

Responsibilities



  • Perform a full range of pharmacy technician procedures.
  • Perform pharmaceutical dispensing duties including filling new outpatient prescriptions, refilling prescriptions, and entering orders into databases.
  • Perform information consultation duties including supporting new and refill prescriptions, supporting patient requests, supporting physician's requests, monitoring for drug interactions, and reporting adverse drug reactions.
  • Perform quality improvement duties including performing drug storage inspection, reviewing expired supplies, and producing error and workload reports and documentation.
  • Perform supply process duties including placing new orders, stocking/restocking shelves, inventory maintenance, producing not in stock reports.
  • Interpret prescriptions for appropriateness to include contents, completeness, compatibility, and conformity with established pharmacy practice guidelines. Enter prescription orders into required databases or Electronic Health Records.
  • Perform required drug checks. Print labels for each order. Prepare, package, and label prescriptions and drug orders as required.
  • Perform monthly inspections of pharmaceuticals in assigned areas within the pharmacy and in patient care areas. Rotate drug stock to ensure freshness and potency, to include the removal and proper disposal of expired, suspended, and other unsuitable drugs.
  • Clean and arrange pharmacy equipment and supplies. Post and maintain pharmacy records including files required in controlled substances.
  • Will wear professional attire in accordance with department policy.


Work Schedule:Will be scheduled for 8-12 hour shifts between the hours of 0000 - 2359 Sunday to Saturday. The work hours will be limited to 40 scheduled hours per week at either the Satellite Pharmacy or the Hospital Pharmacy. The schedule will be provided to the employee no less than one week in advance. Not required to work federal holidays.
