Duties:
As a Quality Control Inspector I, you'll be using your skills and expertise to ensure that all incoming parts, in-process production, and shipped product fulfill all quality requirements. You'll be responsible for visually inspecting the materials, parts, and products at different stages of production, as well as verifying quantity, recording observations and making recommendations for improving processes. You'll maintain the quality standards for receiving in-process and final inspection at the warehouse.

Physical/Mental/Emotional Requirements:
*Frequently walk, sit, stand. Frequently repeat same hand, arm, and finger motion many times to include finger and hand dexterity.
*Frequently requires vision abilities to include close, distance, depth perception, and telling the difference between colors.
*Frequently requires hearing abilities to include discerning different tones and volumes.
*Frequently lifting or carrying up to 20 lbs.

Working Conditions:
*Frequently exposed to indoor elements. Occasionally exposed to loud noises.

Safety Sensitive Position:
*Responsible for the safety or security of people or property.

Skills Must-haves:
*Knowledge and ability to understand and interpret technical inventory lists and drawings.
*Experience with finished goods inspection.
*Experience with Costpoint and/or AEGIS-MES.
*Basic understanding of material flow in operations.

Education Must-haves:
*High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
*Higher education may substitute for relevant experience.
*Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education.
