The USC School of Architecture invites applicants for a part-time studio instruction position for an interdisciplinary architecture, landscape architecture, and heritage conservation studio course. This course will engage graduate and undergraduate architecture and landscape architecture students in site analysis and design at multiple scales, from master planning to detailed design. The course methodology will incorporate heritage conservation in the analytical and design readings, assignments, and project work. Candidates will demonstrate a teaching portfolio and/or professional experience that successfully translates site design, community heritage, and context into the preservation and design of cultural or institutional campuses with multiple structures and complex programs.

Compensation and rank to be commensurate with experience. The core salary range for this position is $50.75 - $75 per hour. This is a part-time, 30% position.

Qualifications: A Master of Architecture degree or equivalent degree is required, and a minimum of 3 years of combined professional and teaching experience is preferred. Preference is given to candidates with a proven track record of professional work in this area; prior teaching experience in an accredited architecture program; and the ability to teach software, advanced media, or graphic communication as part of the course curriculum.
