A leader in cutting-edge research and technology in the cyber arena, CPMG focuses on using business drivers to guide cybersecurity activities and manage risk. CPMG offers flexible, integrative solutions for Department of Defense (DoD) contractors, among others, and specializes in cybersecurity, information and operational technology, electronic security surveillance, and support services.

Summary:

The Data Warehouse SME will be the EDW team lead.


Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

  • Design, develop, implement, and maintain enterprise data warehouse solutions.
  • Optimize SQL Server databases for performance, scalability, reliability, and availability.
  • Develop and support ETL processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and other data integration tools.
  • Create and maintain reporting and analytical solutions using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), and Microsoft Power BI.
  • Analyze complex business and technical requirements and translate them into effective database and reporting solutions.
  • Perform other duties as needed.

Qualifications

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to plan and deliver technical solutions independently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of total database experience. 12+ years of those 15 years should be SQL Server experience.
  • Experience with SQL Server databases of at least 5 TB and a billion total rows of data.
  • 5+ years of experience with Agile development methodologies.
  • 3+ years of experience with MS tools such as SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, PowerBI, and ADO as well as modern data management tools such as Python, R and Cloud services.
  • Must have a Secret clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.

Pay and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $221,000 to $276,000 annually.
