Open Date Jul 15, 2026 Description The Department of Molecular and Systems Biology at Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor. We seek applicants who will direct an independent research program to address complex problems in molecular, cellular, or developmental biology, with an emphasis on neuroscience, regeneration, or mechanisms of human disease using approaches in genetics, genomics, epigenetics or metabolomics. Applicants with a demonstrated record of technology development and/or application of innovative approaches are encouraged to apply. Our department offers a collegial environment where faculty members benefit from collaborative interactions across campus, with foundational and clinical departments at Geisel, the School of Arts & Sciences, the Thayer School of Engineering, and the Guarini School of Graduate and Advanced Studies. A generous start-up package and access to state-of-the-art research facilities will be provided. Depending on areas of expertise, successful candidates will mentor and teach Dartmouth graduate students in PhD programs [Molecular and Cellular Biology (MCB), Quantitative Biomedical Sciences (QBS), and Integrative Neuroscience at Dartmouth (IND)]. The Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth is located on neighboring campuses in Hanover and Lebanon, New Hampshire, surrounded by a vibrant, academic, and professional community offering excellent schools, lively arts, and an outstanding quality of life.
