Join one of the nation's leading academic health systems as a Senior MRI Technologist at UCLA Health, where you'll perform advanced MRI procedures using state of the art imaging technology while providing exceptional patient care. Working under the direction of the MRI Director and Medical Director, you'll perform a wide range of complex diagnostic exams, collaborate closely with radiologists and multidisciplinary care teams, and play a key role in delivering accurate, high-quality imaging that supports life-changing patient care.

In this role, you'll independently perform advanced MRI examinations, administer contrast media in accordance with established protocols, ensure patient safety through comprehensive MRI screening practices, and utilize advanced post-processing and 3D imaging software. You'll serve as a trusted resource for patients and clinical teams, combining technical expertise with compassionate care to create an exceptional patient experience.

As a Senior MRI Technologist, you'll also help maintain imaging quality standards, support equipment readiness, and have opportunities to serve in a lead capacity when needed. This position offers the opportunity to work across UCLA Health's world-renowned imaging locations while contributing to innovative patient care in a collaborative, academic medical environment.

You will be expected to support all imaging centers staffed by UCLA Health.

*Internal candidates will be placed according to their Active/Current career ladder level*

Salary Range: $54.79 - $72.30/Hourly

Qualifications

  • Licenses
    • A combination of the ARRT and CRT - required. MR certificate required

OR you need

  • A combination of the ARRT and ARMRIT (MR) - required
  • BLS from American Heart Association or American Red Cross - required
  • Graduate from a Radiologic Technologist Program - preferred
  • Venipuncture certificate - preferred
  • AA or BS - preferred
  • 3 years of MRI experience - required
  • Siemens experience - preferred
  • Ability to adapt to advancements and changing technologies
  • Ability to identify contraindications for exams
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and independent decision-making skills
  • Familiarity with clinical billing (IDX codes)
  • Knowledge of human anatomy and pathology
  • Strong attention to detail and multi-tasking abilities
  • You will be required to rotate to all radiology sites staffed by UCLA Health
