Seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our Clinical Research Team and support the delivery of exceptional patient care.

As a successful candidate, you will:

  • Provide initial medical screening: Greets patients and directs them to appropriate exam / procedure rooms. Obtains vitals, chief complaint and basic medical history; accurately document in medical chart according to accepted medical standards.

  • Medical administration: Administer medications and therapeutic agents through CVADs, closely monitor patients responses and ensuring adherence to established protocols..

  • Perform peripheral blood draws and central line maintenance.

  • Assist providers or nurse upon request during exams / procedures of patient and according to accepted medical standards.

  • Practice Universal precautions with respect to establish safety protocols. Facilitate communication between the provider and patients as needed, including translation as appropriate.

Qualifications

Your qualifications should include:

  • Completion of a licensed vocational nursing program.

  • 1 year of work experience as an LVN in a medical environment.

  • Current CA LVN license

  • Current BLS certification with the American Heart Association

  • Strong clinical assessment skills
