Global Planning & Operations (GP&O), connects end-to-end planning, order management, and execution to deliver products to customers with speed, quality, and predictability. It brings together planning, inventory, order management, and order execution capabilities into a unified global operating model that drives operational excellence and enables scalable growth across Lam's factory network.

The impact you'll make

The Manager, Global System Project Management serves as the global functional owner for System Project Management across the factory network. This role provides matrix leadership to site-based teams, driving alignment, standardization, and continuous improvement in production planning and execution.

This role is pivotal to transforming System Project Management into a globally consistent, scalable capability that enables Order Execution excellence. By driving standardization, improving execution discipline, and strengthening capability, the Sr. Manager, Global System Project Management ensures the organization can meet customer demand with speed, quality, and predictability.

What you'll do
  • Develop Global Vision & Standards: Develop and deploy System Project Management strategy, processes, and best-known methods (BKM's) across all sites
  • Drive Matrix Alignment: Influence and align site-based teams globally; ensure adoption of standards without direct authority
  • Deliver Operational Excellence: Lead initiatives to improve scheduling accuracy, cycle time, and execution predictability
  • Enable Scalable Execution: Develop tools, metrics, and governance to drive consistency and performance across the network
  • Build Capability: Strengthen organizational capability through coaching, development frameworks, and knowledge sharing
  • Partner Cross-Functionally: Collaborate with Order Execution, Manufacturing, Planning, Supply Chain, and Sales Operations to ensure end-to-end alignment
Who we're looking for
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 6-8 years of management experience. An advanced degree preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in Project Management, Production Control, Supply Chain, Manufacturing Operations, or related field
  • 5+ years of leadership experience, leading global or multi-site operations in a matrixed environment
  • APICS Certifications
  • Strong expertise in production planning, scheduling, and execution
  • Demonstrated ability to influence, drive change, and deliver operational improvements
Preferred qualifications
  • Experience in semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing environments
  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and production planning tools
  • Experience supporting large-scale business transformation or scaling initiatives

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories - On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. 'On-site Flex' you'll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. 'Virtual Flex' you'll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
