Currently recruiting an Diagnostic Imaging Technologist - MRI to provide care to active-duty military members and their families at Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center, Fort Hood, Texas. The Diagnostic Imaging Technologist - MRI is a full-time position. The Radiology Department provides services 24 hours per day, seven days a week. Normal duty hours will consist of forty (40) hours per week, Sunday through Saturday, including federal holidays, and training holidays. Normal shifts will be up to twelve (12) hours, including nights and/or weekends. Full benefits, including 17 days paid vacation/sick leave and 11 paid Federal holidays. DUTIES OF THE DIAGNOSTIC IMAGING TECHNOLOGIST - MRI: The Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologist specializes in using MRI scanners to create detailed images of the body. The MRI technologist plays a critical role in helping doctors diagnose and monitor medical conditions by producing clear and accurate images of organs, tissues, and structures. The MRI is a non-invasive diagnostic tool, often used to detect abnormalities, guide treatments, or assess the effectiveness of medical interventions. The MRI Technologist ensures patients receive the most accurate imaging to support their care and treatment plans.
