Sales / Commercial Administrative Assistant
Overview:
Creativity must influence everything we do, and everyone in the hotel. Performance realities will always exist, but we use these constraints to push, not limit, our creativity. We believe there is always a way to make it work. If we don't have the solution, we dig deeper creatively to find one.
Responsibilities:
Support the efforts of the sales team to drive top-line revenue for the hotel.
Manages and assigns all sales inquiries for group, catering, and private dining sales.
Assist sales managers with preparation of contracts, proposals, and addendums.
Create departmental POs and maintain inventory of office supplies, collateral, and promotional items
Accurately record and process direct opportunities in hotel sales system (Delphi and Tripleseat)
Assist clients and media in the absence of the Sales Manager
Coordinate client site inspections and preplanning visits
Assist managers with RFP responses, and meeting arrangements as needed
Qualifications:
Must be self-directed, motivated and demonstrate intuitive customer service and interpersonal skills
Passionate for hospitality and effectively engages with internal and external clients
Communicates clearly, concisely, and openly in all interactions
Has exceptional attention to detail, organizational, analytical and time management skills
Multi-tasks and priorities in a fast-paced work environment
Exercises sound judgment evaluates situations and utilizes appropriate and creative resources to solve problems
Is technologically savvy, with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, Delphi FDC and Opera preferred
