Summary

Work independently under the direction of the Executive Director/Director to manage the activities of a statewide, college-wide, or department-wide program. Provide direction and guidance to the team to facilitate the achievement of the program's goals.

Hybrid Work Arrangement: 90% Remote, 10% onsite, must reside in the metro Milwaukee, WI area.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Maintain reimbursement timeline, including tracking deadlines for deliverables.

  • Develop and manage budget.

  • Schedule people and material resources.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and institutional resources.

  • Oversee the collection, analysis, and dissemination of claims data.

  • Coordinate and creates development of materials including educational materials, marketing materials, websites, forms, and reports.

  • Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of comprehensive databases and files related to the program.

  • Organize internal and external meetings, site visits, and special events.

  • Create and oversee training for Billing, Collections, and Reimbursement employees.

  • Monitor team performance and provide coaching and feedback.

  • Coordinate and manage activities, including acting as a liaison with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Ensure reimbursement data and progress are reported to stakeholders.

  • Lead and participate in appropriate committees relevant to the advancement of the program and the profession.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge - Skills - Abilities
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential.

  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving and attentiveness to detail required.

  • Strong computer skills.

  • Advanced knowledge of the program study area.

  • Excellent ability to motivate and engage team members

Qualifications

Appropriate experience may be substituted on equivalent basis.

Minimum Required Education:Bachelor's degree

Minimum Required Experience:8 years experience in multi-payer physician reimbursement with equivalent size scope. 5 years in a supervisory or leadership role.

Preferred Experience: Experience within an academic medical setting preferred.

Physical Requirements

Work requires occasionally lifting moderate weight materials, standing, or walking continuously.

Work Environment

Occasional exposure to dust, noise, temperature changes, or contact with water or other liquids. Work is performed in an environmentally controlled environment.

Sensory Acuity

Ability to detect and translate speech or other communication required. May occasionally require the ability to distinguish colors and perceive relative distances between objects.
