The cooperative does business in agronomy, agri-finance, precision agriculture, nutrient management, energy, feed, grain, and turf. PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT Operates mill equipment to include mixing, processing, loading and transporting feed and other products to customers and other facilities as directed. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Responsible for the manufacturingand handling of all feeds,ensuringpropersequencing of products to produce the correct feeds. Assists with inventoryand recordsof all feeds. Protects product from damage. Maintains proper inventorypaperwork atthe facilityfordeliveriesand completes physical inventoriesas required. Monitors inventory for current seasonal and daily needs. Maintains arecord of each batch of feed produced to document a quality manufacturing program. Maintainsrecordsof all medicated feed additives as required by state law. Responsiblefor keeping the Branch Manager informed of the need for major building and equipment repairs as well as recommendations for annual fixed asset purchases. Responsible for location housekeeping. Responsible for safe use of tools and equipmentand appropriateuse of personal protective equipment byallemployees at the locationandreporting unsafe conditions to the Location Manager. Responsible for delivery of products to customers. Schedules all major equipment repairs. OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS FollowsGROWMARK'sCode of Conduct andCorporate Compliance Program,Environmental Health and Safety,OSHAand DOT policies and procedures, as they apply. Performs all other duties as assigned. REQUIREMENTS Normally requiresHigh School diplomaor the equivalent thereof,and3years or moreof relatedwork experience. Must be able to obtain and maintain forklift operation certification andCommercial Driver's License. Hazmat & Tanker endorsements andMixer Loader Pesticide Certified & Licenseare preferred. Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development. Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record. Normally requires aCommercial Driver's License (CDL).
Ability to work extended hours when necessary. Ability to travel independently and overnight. Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK's policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.
