As a Security Officer Patrol License Verification in Santa Clara, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal at a premier retail location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. In this unarmed patrol role, you will support a welcoming environment through strong communication, routine patrols, and teamwork, while bringing integrity to every interaction in a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative culture.

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observed activity according to site guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, entrances, stock areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may require attention.
• Monitor access points, support loss prevention awareness, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal management.
• Assist with opening and closing activities, help maintain an orderly environment for customers and staff, and support security-related operations during high-traffic periods and/or special events.

Minimum Requirements:

• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
