As a Security Officer Checkpoint Examiner in Canal Winchester, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will help monitor entry activity, screen visitors and/or materials, and support security-related protocols with professionalism and care. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Screen incoming and outgoing personnel, packages, freight, and/or vehicles in accordance with location policies to help support authorized access and security-related operations.
• Respond to incidents, suspicious activity, and/or operational concerns in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations through required reports and communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, loading areas, entry points, and perimeter, noting unusual conditions and reporting security-related issues to site contacts and/or supervisors.
• Monitor entry and exit activity at the location, verify credentials, and help to deter unauthorized access, theft, and/or policy violations within a logistics and distribution environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
