We're looking for a Direct Support Specialist to join our team!

At Mosaic, our core focus is helping people with intellectual and developmental disabilities live a full life. As a Direct Support Specialist, you'll play a vital role in serving people with intellectual and development disabilities.

Here's what you'll do as a Direct Support Specialist:



  • Assist 4individuals inIndependent Living (all live in their own apartments). DSS will be expected to attendscheduled visits with the individuals. Visits may include any of the following requirements:
  • Assist people served in the handling of money and finances.
  • Provide transportation and assist people served with accessing services in the community.
  • Assist people served with general housekeeping, grocery shopping, meal preparation, and laundry.
  • Escort individuals to medical, dental, or therapy appointments and assist them in communicating with healthcare providers.
  • Provide medication monitoring and/or administer prescribed medications and treatments.
  • Maintain accurate, daily logs of shifts, tracking progress toward goals outlined in the individual's Individualized Service Plan.

You should have:



  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of one year experience in a related field
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
