Position Summary:

As Product Owner for Partner Data Exchange (PDX), you will shape and execute the vision for secure, scalable data integration between Securian, EBS clients, and partners. You will be empowered and accountable to drive outcomes through execution by collaborating with business, technology, and external stakeholders to modernize data exchange, streamline data flows, improve operational efficiency, and deliver outcomes aligned to strategic priorities. This position requires someone who is passionate about understanding our customers, who can bring creative and bold new ideas to life, and who will deliver superior results consistently.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • In partnership with business and technology owners, create a compelling product vision for Partner Data Exchange and develop and execute a product roadmap focused on measurable outcomes, regularly sharing progress with stakeholders and the team.
  • Define product OKRs,monitorand report on businessand technologymetrics/outcomes.
  • Collaborate across Employee Benefits Solutions, Enterprise Technology,Operations, and external partners to elicit, analyze, and understand needs, constraints, and risks, aligning with organizational strategy and priorities.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams, technicalpartnersand product owners within your functional area.
  • Engage and collaborate with teams and stakeholders to create and manage Agile artifacts (e.g., Product Roadmap, Backlog) and information needed for prioritization decision-making; regularly assess features, costs, and impact todeterminewhether and when toproceed.
  • Transform businessobjectivesand product strategies, together with the needs of partners, into specific actionable requirements forproduct agileteams.
  • Drive day-to-day product management decisions by prioritizing andmaintainingthe sprint backlog for assigned products, balancing the requirements of stakeholders and partners.
  • Cultivate andmaintaineffective relationships with all stakeholders and partners, helping the business create requirements for changes and improvements.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years as a product owner with the ability to demonstrate realized business value and outcomes.
  • Strategic thinker, analytical and results driven.
  • Leadership skills to gain credibility, garner respect, guide the creation of a self-organizing team and be assertive with business priorities and opposing viewpoints while adhering to Agile concepts and principles.
  • Working knowledge of Agile practices. Understands the fundamentals of iterative development, incremental delivery, backlog management, burn down metrics, velocity and task definition.
  • Strong communication, facilitation and interpersonal skills to connect and engage team, facilitate discussion, advocate for team and negotiate with business/corporate areas, mentor/coach team members, and resolve conflict.
  • Solid analytical skills, creative problem-solving skills, and high attention to detail.
  • Ability to work with minimal direction, flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities and schedules, handle multiple issues simultaneously, and manage stressful situations.
  • Strong knowledge of technical concepts and architectural principles to drive scalable solutions.

#LI-Hybrid **This position will have a hybrid working arrangement, working in-office for a minimum of 3 days a week.**

The estimated base pay range for this job is:

$89,000.00 - $164,300.00

Pay may vary depending on job-related factors and individual experience, skills, knowledge, etc. More information on base pay and incentive pay (if applicable) can be discussed with a member of the Securian Financial Talent Acquisition team.
