Euclid Public Library is seeking a responsible, detail-oriented, self-starter to fill an open full-time Maintenance Assistant II position. Custodial duties for this position include, but are not limited to opening the building, cleaning restrooms and offices, vacuuming, trash removal, snow removal and meeting room set-up. Building Services duties for this position include, but are not limited to assisting with electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems and other related building projects; troubleshooting building issues; repairing and assembling office equipment, furniture, and shelves; repairing electrical fixtures and plumbing fixtures and maintaining equipment. Working knowledge of HVAC and lighting control software systems is an asset. Minimum requirements: A high school diploma, or equivalent required, with a minimum of two-year's experience in custodial or building services. A valid Ohio Driver's license with an acceptable driving record required. A valid low pressure boiler license preferred. Hourly pay rate: $15.76 with health, dental, life and paid leave benefits.
