University Hospitals Lake Health Medical Center is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatrician to join our growing Department of Pediatrics. Faculty appointments at the rank of Clinical Instructor, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor are available through the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, commensurate with experience and academic accomplishments.

Position Responsibilities

The Pediatrician will:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat infants, children, and adolescents
  • Provide preventive care and manage acute and chronic pediatric conditions
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Prescribe medications and therapies as appropriate
  • Coordinate care with specialists and other healthcare professionals
  • Promote health education, wellness, and disease prevention initiatives
  • Document patient care in accordance with organizational and regulatory standards
  • Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
  • Teach and supervise medical students and residents, as applicable
  • Maintain faculty status in good standing with the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine (when applicable)
  • Adhere to University Hospitals policies, procedures, and physician standards of practice
Qualifications
  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
  • Eligible for medical licensure in the State of Ohio
  • Strong commitment to patient-centered care and clinical excellence
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
