Join our Sibley Nursing Team as an ICURN!

A new, ultramodern intensive care unit (ICU) opened at Sibley Memorial Hospital on Oct. 4, 2023, on the second floor of the main patient tower. The ICU team specializes in the management of adult and geriatric medical and surgical patients who have or are at high risk for a variety of life-threatening conditions.

Position Details

  • Intensive Care Unit: 14-bed unit with capacity to expand to 18 beds
  • 12-hour Rotating shift
  • PRN (6-8 shifts per 6 weeks, at least 1 shift per week)

Requirements:

  • Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the District of Columbia.
  • Graduation from an accredited program for Registered Nurses.
  • Ability to care for patients requiring Level 1 and Level 2 care/monitoring
  • Code Blue and Rapid Response Teams experience
  • ACLS/BLS/NIHSS
  • Prefer at least 2 years of current experience in the acute care setting.
