What to Expect
Tesla's supply chain team is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Supply Chain Manager with deep expertise in memory components. This role requires a unique combination of strategic supply chain management and hands-on technical memory engineering experience. You will lead end-to-end supply chain responsibilities for memory components including HBM, DRAM, UFS, and other advanced memory technologies critical to Tesla's computing and product needs. You will partner closely with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing to drive vendor qualification, cost optimization, technology roadmap alignment, NPI and high-volume production enablement. This role reports to the Supply Chain Group Manager and serves as a strategic resource supporting memory for Tesla's various product lines including vehicles, energy products, and computing platforms.
What You'll Do
- Own end-to-end supply chain management for memory components from early engineering design influence through production ramp, high-volume manufacturing, and end of life
- Lead RFQ processes ensuring all commercial terms are agreed and documented, including Non-Disclosure Agreements, General Terms & Conditions, Piece Price Agreements, and related contracts
- Drive best-in-class pricing for memory commodities through strategic negotiations, cost modeling, and should-cost analysis based on deep understanding of memory manufacturing processes (wafer fabrication, die processing, packaging, assembly, test)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize power, performance, area, and cost for memory components including HBM, DRAM, UFS, and emerging memory technologies
- Evaluate and implement latest memory technologies andbest knownmethods into Tesla's products
- Qualify and develop strategic vendors who can create long-term impact in scaling Tesla's products while driving continuous cost reduction
- Drive qualified vendors to reduce defects and sustain high-volume manufacturing at reduced PPM levels, ensuring best-in-class quality standards
- Leadsystemyield improvement initiatives by debugging memory-related problems through cross-functional collaboration with Engineering and Quality teams
- Develop and execute comprehensive category management strategies including business plans, market analysis, technology roadmaps, cost modeling, and sourcing strategies
- Monitor global memory industry trends, track technology roadmaps, and proactively identify and mitigate supply and demand challenges
What You'll Bring
- 10+ years of combined experience in memory supply chain management and/or memory technical engineering roles supportingNPI andhigh-volume manufacturing
- Deepcommercialandtechnical understanding of memory supply chain and manufacturing processes including process development, memory debug, memory qualification, and reliability improvements
- Proven experience in collaborating with external vendors and enabling new memory technologies in production environments
- Proficient knowledge of technical requirements, design specifications, and datasheets for memory components with ability to influence cross-functional partners through detailed technical and commercial analysis
- Demonstrated ability to generate should-cost modelsformemoryparts
- Ability to resolve ambiguity, adapt to fast-paced environments, and drive results in highly dynamic technical and commercial landscapes
- Effective communication skills and ability to work with geographically distributed teams including both technical and commercial stakeholders
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
- Master's Degree in Engineering, and/or Business, and/or Supply Chain, or equivalent experience

Expected Compensation
$156,000 - $234,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
