Opportunity to join the faculty of Cooper Medical School at Rowan University on our campus. ACGME accredited fellowship with a total of 9 fellows in the program. Participate in conferences with opportunity to teach medical students, residents, and the hematology/oncology fellows.

Short Description

Hematologist/Oncologist - Relish the opportunity to practice in Southern NJ, at Cooper University Health Care and MD Anderson Cancer Center at Cooper based in Camden, New Jersey.

This practice is part of Cooper University Health Care, the only Academic Tertiary Level Full Service Medical Center based in Camden, NJ. The practice serves as an extension of the MD Anderson Cancer Center at Cooper, a network site of the top-ranked University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center.

Cooper main campus in Camden New Jersey includes subspecialty outpatient care, multidisciplinary clinical teams, and associated subspecialty services: surgical oncology, radiation oncology, and associated allied health professionals. Inpatient care delivered at Cooper University Hospital in Camden includes inpatient chemotherapy, bone marrow transplant, and cellular therapy services.

As the only destination transplant and cellular therapy program serving Southern New Jersey's seven counties, MD Anderson Cancer Center at Cooper is uniquely positioned to expand access to advanced therapies for a diverse and historically underserved population and supported by sustained institutional investment and a deeply engaged multidisciplinary team.


Education Requirements

  • Qualified candidates must hold an MD or MD/PhD (or equivalent)
  • Be eligible for appointment at the Professor level at Cooper Medical School of Rowan University.
  • Demonstrate a record of progressive leadership, scholarly accomplishment, and national recognition within academic hematologic malignancies and/or cellular therapy.

License/ Certification Requirements

Board-certified in Hematology/Medical Oncology.

Candidates must also be eligible for medical licensure in New Jersey.

Hourly Rate Min $120.19
Hourly Rate Max $382.72


The New Jersey Pay Transparency Act requires disclosure of the pay range for this position.

A salary offer will vary based on the job role, candidate experience, qualifications, internal pay equity and market data.
