This role works closely with transplant surgeons, organ procurement organizations (OPOs), and transplant coordinators to optimize donor organ preservation and support successful transplantation outcomes. Among the job functions include: travel to donor hospitals for organ procurement procedures; prepare, manage, and troubleshoot perfusion solutions, preservation techniques, and recovery equipment; assist with initiation, monitoring, and maintenance of organ preservation techniciques, including ex vivo heart and lung perfusion systems, where applicable; collect and document hemodynamic, metabolic, and laboratiory data through transplant;and collaborate with transplant surgeons, anesthesiologists, and procurement teans during donor organ recovery. Hours:On Call; requires travel Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Perfusion, Cardiovascular Science, or related field 2 years of experience in ICU, CVICU, OR or related field required. 5 years preferred.
