JOB DESCRIPTION
No Job Description for a position can possibly include all duties which may be requested by guests or required by the hotel. The objective of all positions is to effectively provide the services personally, or to immediately refer requests to the appropriate department manager. The following is a summary of the major responsibilities of the position. Position: Cafeteria Attendant Department: Cafeteria Purpose: To maintain food service and cleanliness of cafeteria. Essential Functions: * Maintains the cleanliness and appearance of the Cafeteria. * Prepares salad bar. * Sets up service stations. * Stacks dishes and glasses of racks for washing. * Tracks covers served per meal. * Posting menu on daily/weekly basis. * Dishes up food during service. Tools and Equipment: * Coffee maker/urn, beverage machines, bus trays, dishware, silverware, glassware, queen-mary cart, broom, mop, bucket, cart, Working Environment: * Interior of hotel, in all Food and Beverage areas, with exposure to humidity and extreme temperatures. * Exposure to Food and Beverage hazardous cleaning chemicals. * Exposure to food items and beverages. | |
