Responsibilities
- Maintains payroll information by collecting,calculatingand entering data including new hire entry
- Updates payroll records by entering changes in exemptions, insurance coverages, jobtitlesand department transfers
- Assisting in preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
- Process 2 weekly payrollsutilizingADP, process submission of 401k contributions and matches, posting payroll and related journal entries
- Reconcile all Employee Benefit bills from insurance companies and process for payment
- Accounts Payable - completes payments and controls expenses byreceiving,processing,verifyingand reconciling invoices
- Assistaccounting office as needed
Qualifications
- 3-5 years Payroll experience, preferablyutilizingADP.
- Experience withQuickBooks preferred, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Degree or certification preferred but not required.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Data entry with great proficiency and accuracy.
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
- Must thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Highly organized; able to manage multiple priorities and meet timelines.
