We seek clinically excellent mission-driven physicians at all levels of experience who thrive in an academic safety-net environment and are eager to contribute to scholarship, teaching, and health system improvement while delivering outstanding care to our patient population. ZSFG serves as San Francisco's safety-net hospital, providing care to patients with complex medical, social, and structural challenges. Faculty in this role will be integral to teaching the next generation of UCSF-trained physicians, and advancing scholarship that enhances patient care, health systems, and/or health policy. Who We're Looking For Preferred/Desirable Qualifications (optional): For physicians primarily seeking a clinical role without formal teaching or scholarly expectations, or with flexibility in clinical hours, we invite you to explore our Medical Staff Physician - Hospital Medicine position, which offers the opportunity to flexibly practice high-acuity inpatient medicine in a mission-driven, academic setting at ZSFG. The total compensation for this position ranges from $239,231-$357,759. Total compensation at the University of California, San Francisco includes your base salary, which is determined by your rank and step at appointment, and negotiated pay for Health Sciences Compensation Plan members. Faculty who are members of the Health Sciences Compensation Plan may also be eligible for additional incentive pay.
