This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic environment, translating complex business needs into actionable solutions and playing a pivotal role in a leading financial services institution.

About Our Client

Aquent is partnering with a prominent and innovative leader in the financial services industry, dedicated to empowering individuals and institutions through cutting-edge solutions and exceptional service. Our client is at the forefront of leveraging data to enhance customer experiences and drive strategic growth. They foster a collaborative environment where technology and business converge to create impactful outcomes, constantly seeking to innovate and improve their offerings.

About the Role

Step into a crucial role where you will be the linchpin connecting marketing vision with technical execution. You will champion the flow of information and initiatives, ensuring that data-driven marketing strategies are not just conceptualized but meticulously brought to fruition. This is more than just a coordination role; it's an opportunity to drive progress, solve complex challenges, and ensure that every data request transforms into a valuable business asset. You will empower marketing partners with the data products they need to succeed, directly influencing strategic decisions and customer engagement.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as the primary liaison, bridging the gap between marketing partners and technology teams to translate strategic business needs into clear, actionable requirements.
  • Lead the intake, assessment, and coordination of marketing data requests, guiding them from initial concept through to successful implementation and validation.
  • Rigorously gather, clarify, and document comprehensive business and data requirements, ensuring precision and alignment with project goals.
  • Transform partner needs into structured work items, including epics, stories, and acceptance criteria, within project management tools, accompanied by thorough supporting documentation.
  • Maintain and update critical project, process, and decision documentation within collaborative knowledge management platforms.
  • Utilize data querying skills to research data, validate requirements, investigate potential issues, and confirm the accuracy of results.
  • Strategically plan, coordinate, and execute user acceptance testing (UAT), meticulously validating data outputs and ensuring adherence to business rules.
  • Facilitate seamless coordination among a diverse group of stakeholders, including marketing teams, product partners, data engineering, and other technology groups.
  • Diligently track delivery progress, identify and manage dependencies, mitigate risks, document key decisions, and follow up on action items.
  • Provide concise and timely status updates to all relevant parties, proactively escalating any issues that require resolution to maintain project momentum.

What You'll Bring (Must-Haves)

  • Proven experience in business analysis, product delivery, data delivery, or a similar role that demands cross-functional collaboration.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively gather requirements and translate complex business needs into clear, technical specifications for engineering teams.
  • Working knowledge of data querying languages for data research, validation, and issue investigation.
  • Hands-on experience with industry-standard project management and collaboration tools.
  • Practical experience in planning and executing user acceptance testing (UAT) or other structured testing and validation processes.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of articulating complex information to both business and technical audiences.
  • A strong capacity to manage multiple concurrent requests with impeccable organization, consistent follow-through, and the ability to operate effectively with limited supervision.

Bonus Points (Nice-to-Haves)

  • Experience working with marketing, customer, or enterprise-level data.
  • Familiarity with data warehouses, data integration processes, analytics platforms, or governed data products.
  • Prior experience within a regulated financial services environment.
  • Understanding of Agile delivery practices and experience collaborating with cross-functional technology teams.

Why This Role Matters

Your success in this role is directly tied to the smooth and efficient delivery of critical marketing data initiatives. You will ensure that data requests flow seamlessly from intake to validation, minimizing disruptions and maximizing impact. By maintaining clear, consistent documentation for requirements, acceptance criteria, and project status, you will foster transparency and alignment across all teams. Your ability to provide timely communication on progress, risks, and next steps will build trust and accelerate decision-making. Ultimately, your independent management of assigned work, coupled with appropriate escalation, will be key to driving the success of data-driven marketing strategies and contributing directly to the client's competitive edge and customer satisfaction.
