Coordinator, System Logistics

• Full Time
• Four 10hr Shifts on rotating days of the week
• Varying Start Time

A Brief Overview

This position is the integral role within the System Operations Center of University Hospitals Health System to coordinate logistical activities across the broad spectrum of entities and service line platforms to deliver care and services to our patients.

What You Will Do

• Oversees and coordinates daily logistics operations, including courier route assignments, daily assigned stops per courier, and deployment of schedules within the Logis IDS system to ensure operational needs are met efficiently.
• Monitor vehicle, staff locations and track job progress.
• Communicate updates between customers, employees, and management.
• Maintain accurate records of schedules, deliveries, incidents, and communications within Logistics log and Logis IDS system
• Proactively ensures timing of urgent requests and prioritize appropriately.
• Resolve scheduling conflicts, delays, and operational issues.
• Ensures confidentiality of patient information.
• Demonstrates and maintains positive inter-personal relationships to provide quality customer service.
• Answers telephone and email inquiries in a courteous, timely, and efficient manner. Facilitate timely communication to internal/external staff.
• Ensure professionalism and effective decision-making in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
• Assists with developing/training new staff members.

• Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.
