Onsite Event Facilitator

The Learning & Community Engagement Department at the Peabody Essex Museum is seeking part-time Onsite Event Facilitators to assist with the oversight and management of public programming opportunities. This role involves supervising events in our Morse Auditorium, Atrium lobby, Create Space Studios and select exhibition spaces. The Onsite Event Facilitator will act as a crucial liaison between the Programming Team, Visitor Engagement, Security, Media Resources and guest talent. This role will coordinate logistical needs with Facilities, and ensure the safety and comfort of both the audience and performers.

The ideal candidate will have an Associate's or Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Degrees in Event Management, Hospitality Management, Arts Administration, or a related field are ideal for this role. The applicant must be available and committed to working regular weekend daytime hours, as well as occasional weekday daytime or evening hours, totaling approximately 4-8 hours per week during busier programming periods, including October. The hourly range for this role is $20.11 to $20.70 commensurate with experience.
