As a Security Officer Asset Protection Patrol in Palo Alto, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a premier retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for shoppers, visitors, and employees. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients, guests, and employees at a luxury retail location while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the sales floor, fitting room areas, stock rooms, entrances, exits, and surrounding perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help deter theft-related incidents.
• Monitor access points and observe customer and employee activity, reporting suspicious behavior, policy concerns, hazards, and maintenance issues to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific post orders and escalation procedures.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity logs and incident reports, and maintain a professional presence that supports a welcoming retail environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
