As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Monitoring in Little Rock, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Armed Security Officer at a fast-paced emergency healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. You will respond to security-related concerns, communicate professionally with staff and visitors, and use technology to document activity. Pay Rate: $17.46 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of hospital grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, report suspicious conditions, and document incidents according to site procedures.
• Carry authorized equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policy and applicable laws, using sound judgment when responding to security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a CPO certification.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
