As a driving Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $25.10 / Hour

Valid Driver's License:

• Candidates must possess a valid driver's license in accordance with the AU Driver Policy Requirements (C123).
• Additionally, candidates must hold a valid driver's license that complies with the regulations of the job state (C124).

• EMT Certification:

  • Candidates applying for positions that require emergency medical response must have a current EMT Certification (C127).

• Technical Proficiency:

  • Candidates must demonstrate comfort and proficiency in using a computer or tablet (B204) to perform job-related tasks effectively.

• Customer Service Experience:

  • Candidates should have prior customer service experience (B219) to ensure they can effectively interact with clients and provide high-quality service.

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, office spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or potential hazards.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, maintain visitor and contractor records, and report unauthorized access concerns according to site procedures.
• Document daily activities, observations, incidents, and shift handoffs accurately, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• EMT certification is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
