Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Full Time Armed Security Officer for a State Site in Worcester MA

Monday, Tuesday Wednesday and Saturday 8 PM - 6 PM

Starting Pay is $23.79 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training

Candidate is Required to Have a Concealed Carry Permit and 1+ Years of Previous Security Experience

As a Security Officer in Worcester, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a government transportation location. Conduct routine armed patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide professional customer service and communication to visitors and personnel. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures and armed post requirements at a government transportation location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, parking areas, access points, roadways, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and unauthorized access.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials as directed, and maintain awareness of vehicle and pedestrian traffic entering or leaving the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and emergency responders in accordance with established procedures.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports, maintain required logs, and communicate observations, incidents, and security-related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
