Position / Job Summary The Assistant Vice Chancellor, Enterprise Data Architecture and Reporting is an enterprise leadership role responsible for ensuring Dallas College data are reliable, secure, well governed, and ready for institutional decision-making and accountability. Reporting to the Senior Associate Vice Chancellor, Strategic Research, Analytics & Effectiveness, the Assistant Vice Chancellor provides strategic and operational leadership for data warehousing, data governance, and official reporting functions. This position establishes the architecture, standards, controls, and service models that move data from source systems into trusted institutional data products; ensures timely and accurate state, federal, accreditation, and other official submissions; and advances shared definitions, stewardship, and data quality across the College. The Assistant Vice Chancellor leads technical and reporting professionals, partners closely with Information Technology and functional leaders, and remains sufficiently hands-on to guide data modeling, code review, troubleshooting, and modernization. The ideal candidate combines deep higher education reporting experience, strong technical and coding expertise, responsible use of AI and automation, and demonstrated success leading people and organizational change.
