- Account Development: Responsible for selling to new and dedicated accounts, the continuum of fire alarm and life safety solutions - new systems, mass notification, panel and device retrofits, code-driven upgrades, service agreements, monitoring, and service.
- Contractor & Engineer Relationships: Develop day-to-day relationships with electrical and general contractors and consulting engineers (A/Es), both onsite and as key influencers in the construction business process.
- Prospecting & New Business: Prospect consistently every week - by phone, email, LinkedIn, walk-ins, and industry events - to reach building owners, property and facility managers, EHS and risk managers, insurers, general and electrical contractors, and consulting engineers.
- Develop Pipeline: Work with real decision makers to assess need, gain agreement on a business case, why we are uniquely qualified, and a decision time frame. Project types include MAC (moves, additions, changes) to existing systems, design-build/owner-direct, and new construction (plan and spec). Expected results: Pipeline size is 5:1 over the revenue target.

- Service & Recurring Revenue: Turn inspection deficiencies, aging and obsolete systems, and code changes into retrofit and upgrade opportunities, and grow the base of ITM and monitoring agreements. Expected results: Recurring revenue and service attachment grow quarter over quarter.
- Market Focus: Identify and develop pipeline specific to assigned market(s). Markets include industrial and manufacturing, global accounts, utilities, financial/banking, healthcare, data centers, federal, state, and local governments, K-12 & higher education. Keep customers informed on the latest developments in fire alarm, mass notification, and life safety technology.
