Now Hiring: Logistics Specialist Location: Elizabeth City, NC Pay Rate: $22.00 - $28.00/hour DOE Seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Specialist to support warehouse, inventory, shipping, and receiving operations in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for material handling, inventory control, kitting, shipping documentation, and ERP system transactions while maintaining high standards for safety, quality, and accuracy. Job Duties Receive, inspect, store, issue, and ship materials, parts, and inventory Perform inventory transactions, cycle counts, and material tracking activities Pick, stage, and kit materials for production and operational requirements Load and unload incoming and outgoing freight in accordance with established procedures Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP and warehouse management systems Generate shipping labels, packing documentation, and inventory reports Coordinate with internal departments, vendors, and transportation providers to resolve material and shipment issues Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, dollies, and other material handling equipment Maintain compliance with warehouse procedures, quality requirements, and safety standards Support continuous improvement initiatives and inventory accuracy efforts Qualifications High school diploma or GED Basic computer proficiency and data entry skills Ability to utilize inventory databases, ERP systems, and Microsoft Outlook Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Previous experience in logistics, warehousing, inventory control, shipping, or receiving Experience with ERP systems and inventory management software Forklift experience is a plus Physical Requirements Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds Frequent standing, walking, bending, squatting, and material handling throughout the shift Ability to safely move heavier materials using mechanical equipment Benefits Medical, dental, vision, and pet insurance 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Commuter/Parking Accounts People Perks Health Savings Account (HSA) AD&D Insurance Ready to apply your logistics and inventory expertise in a fast-paced operation?
