The General Manager (GM/SM) of Aerospace Defense Custom Solutions (ADCS) drives and owns a $200 million business providing "semi-standard" and custom solutions across Keysight, with a primary focus on the Aerospace Defense industry in the US and Europe. This role carries full P&L accountability for the business, leading a global team of approximately 200 people across Santa Rosa, CA; Loveland, CO; Edinburgh, UK; and Malaga, Spain.

This role is responsible for all aspects of the business, including customer engagement, strategic planning, order generation, solution delivery, and support - partnering with the field to capture new opportunities at existing customer sites and penetrate new customers. Success in this role requires 10-15+ years of management and P&L experience, deep Aerospace/Defense ecosystem knowledge, and a proven track record leading dynamic, matrixed organizations, along with the ability to drive organizational change, mentor teams, and build executive-level customer relationships. A US Citizen is a preferable and strategic hire given current and future prime and neo-prime contractor requirements.

Organizational Impact

• Own profit and loss for Keysight's AD Custom Solutions Group - $200M business; meet the financial obligations of the business
• Drive business growth to achieve year-over-year growth in both orders and revenue
• Lead a global team of approximately 200 people across the US, Canada, UK, and Spain
• Own the growth and execution strategy for the business, ensuring growth is profitable and that infrastructure, processes, and resources are in place to deliver on ADCS commitments to customers

Strategic Ownership

• Lead the go-to-industry strategy for ADCS, identifying new opportunities, developing strategic plans, and funding investments required to capture profitable revenue
• Work with internal groups and external partners to deliver innovative solutions to customers for AD applications
• Develop and execute strategic and tactical plans for the pursuit and successful capture of new opportunities

Influence & Communication

• Manage multiple managers of managers together with high level individual contributors, developing each to maximize their impact to ADCS and Keysight
• Work closely with insourcing partners to ensure they are invested in the success of the ADCS business
• Maintain close communication with key customers, recognizing that ADCS solutions are often critical to their manufacturing and R&D success

• Prioritize and balance the activities and resources of the organization to meet customer commitments and ensure customer satisfaction across multiple application spaces and geographies

• 10-15+ years demonstrated experience and success in management/operational roles
• Strong Aerospace/Defense (AD) eco-system knowledge, including trends, requirements, and business practices
• Understanding of solutions business operations and challenges
• Experience in Electrical and Software Engineering solution development
• Experience in Electrical and Software Engineering solution integration and delivery
• Successful P&L experience and proven track record of managing a highly dynamic organization
• Experience leading organization-wide change programs with a focus on improving process efficiencies
• Experience working in matrixed organizations requiring high levels of cross-business collaboration
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, mentor, support, and evaluate team members
• Ability to identify, establish, and drive customer executive relationships
• BS in Engineering or a technical field required; Master's degree/MBA preferred
• US person or citizen; ability to obtain a security clearance highly desired

Colorado Springs, CO Pay Range: MIN $192,000.00 - MAX $320,000.00
